We judge open and honest commentary on current events and news items on a local, county, state, national a good healthy outlet for a Democracy particularly in these difficult and crazy times. Our Roots

Here at The Hercules Free Constitution Press, the core is a diverse group of community residents of different perspectives in political views, ethnicities, religions, gender and race. The common denominator is that we are residents of West Contra Costa County. Specifically the villages and incorporated towns of Tara Hills, El Sobrante, Pinole, Hercules, Rodeo-Crockett-Tormey and Martinez. We encourage a light hearted look at the news; debate the community issues of the day or year. Perhaps it'll be like the Daily Show or maybe the hot button thread on 4Chan, the takeaway is that this effort will be inclusive, apolitical, non denominational, transparent, non-judgmental. We also whenever possible will not delete a thread. We also encourage contributors to bring up issues on our forums where they can be discussed, debated and crowd sourced. Think of your contribution as a letter to the editor that never gets edited and always gets published. So buckle yourself in and join us.
